Tips

1. Use the cross function. It's more useful than you think it is.

I used to despise that function. Till I realized it actually helps me solve puzzles faster because we actually make mistakes and forget about the completed columns and rows, making our puzzle more unsolvable.

2. Colour the squares that you know can be filled up in either ways then cross out the squares that cannot be coloured at all.

This was taught in the tutorial, but not many people will apply this skill. For example, a 6x6 grid and one column/row requires 4 squares to be filled (NOT including a separator eg. 1 2).

4x
2x
3x
3x
1 2x

There, solve the rest!

3. Look out for symmetrical patterns.

Some puzzles are symmetrically the same, making it easier to solve the puzzle. If the row only has 4 boxes to be filled, you know that they have to split in the middle, so 2-2.

  1. Hey, do you have any tips on how to better use the logi-tools?

    1. Hey, honestly, most of the tools are random so it is quite hard to advise on that. "Error scan" is really useful when you are solving halfway and realise the numbers don't match.

As for "Choose Line", I would also advise to solve the puzzle till you hit a brick wall. First, take note which are the rows/columns that you can't solve. Then, you need to think about these questions: Which line is the most useful in aiding me to finish the puzzle? Which one do I need to solve first? Which line, after revealing, would allow me to fill more subsequent rows/columns? How many boxes does each line fill (for those that actually has more than 1 way of filling it)?
